There are multiple ways how you can help us improving PDFpirate.

Translate PDFpirate into your language

There's now system in place available that allows easy string translation. It doesn't require any technical skills from you whatsoever. Simply chose the language you'll be translating PDFpirate into and start translating. If you feel like only doing one or two sentences, it's still possible to do so; every little helps.

Write new or improve the existing documentation

For example, if you're a system administrator and managed to install PDFpirate on an OS that is not yet documented, why not writing an instruction guide how you did it and sharing it with others? Similarly with the existing documentation, if there's a mistake you found, simply correct it using our wiki pages.

Write new plugins or improve the existing ones

One of the core principles of PDFpirate is to allow anyone to create their own plugins, tools extending PDFpirate's functionality. Check out the documentation on how to do it. There's alway plenty of other development work to be done as well. See our roadmap page for the list of outstanding tasks.

Make new graphics or improve user interface

If you're an artistic person you can help us improving PDFpirate by creating mock-up pages of new interface ideas, creating some promotional graphics, improving logo, etc. Be creative ;-)

Write applications based on our APIs

The possibilities are endless here. Browser extensions, mobile phone apps, web widgets, etc. Check out the docs.
